Wall Street has long operated by one simple pay rule: To the victor go the spoils. If a firm does well, its people do well, getting splashy annual bonuses sometime in December or January.

- Other articles (NY Times for one) stated that the contractor is the head of a high end construction firm that has renovated high end properties...Donna Karan store for one among many others...so he was not a fly by night kind of guy.
